INSTRUCTION CLASSES

SHARING TECHNIQUES:

When first becoming interested in taxidermy one only too soon realizes that as a rule taxidermists jealously guard their trade, not wishing to discuss or share their methods or techniques.  Lino however proposes to remove any and all secrecy.  As a student one will learn the most modern methods and techniques being used in the industry today.  These methods and techniques have proven to be the best as demonstrated by the top awards continually won by Lino at taxidermy competitions throughout Canada and the U.S.

HANDS ON PARTICIPATION:

The different courses will vary to consider the needs, experience and abilities of each student whether they be beginners with little or no experience to the already established taxidermist who wishes to become familiar with the latest techniques.  The classes are very intense and in-depth.  All classes are one on one with the instructor.  Rather than a class room atmosphere with several students in each course, all classes are limited to one student.  There will be plenty of "hands on" participation by the student.  As well they will

mount their own specimen, which they will take home with them upon completion of the course.  This mount will become part of their own personal taxidermy display.  As well, students will receive a diploma acknowledging their successful completion of the course.

TESTIMONIALS

"I have always been impressed with Lino's enthusiasm not only for the art of taxidermy but for his willingness to share with others.  I have personally had the opportunity to view and also judge Lino's work at different competitions and needless to say all his pieces have always received the top awards from the very best of judges.  It is great to see someone of Lino's caliber willing to train others in the field of taxidermy."

"I would like to sincerely congratulate Lino on the fact that his mounts that I have had the opportunity to both judge as well as study, without a doubt rank with the highest caliber of whitetail and game head taxidermy not only in Canada, but in the U.S. as well.
While judging any of Lino's work I most clearly recall his distinct understanding of anatomy and expression as well as his crisp, clean appearance and attention to detail.  I have also never seen as good a mount by an amateur as a whitetail mounted by one of his former students at a recent competition in Toronto Ontario.  We can only hope that all of his students are as devoted to the art of taxidermy as Lino Grifone is."
